We employ real professional photographers with backgrounds in early childhood education. Each member of the team goes through several days of hands-on training both with the technical side of photography as well as the appropriate communication to bring out your child's true spirit. You will often hear the photographers singing lines from the movie Frozen, or even making silly jokes to get the children laughing.
Travis
Owner / Lead photographer
Travis Watts spent 14 years working in early childhood education, where his passion for photographing children first began to flourish. In 2011, he launched his own business, initially specializing in weddings and family portraits. He later founded 82 West Photography with a mission to deliver portraits that schools and families would truly value and want to print. Frustrated by the boring, outdated, and poor-quality school portraits offered by national companies, Travis aimed to raise the bar. Today, 82 West serves over 25 schools, and Travis photographs more than 175 families each year, collaborating with top tech companies in Silicon Valley. He has proudly earned back-to-back gold medals as the Peninsula's top photographer. When he's not behind the camera, you can find Travis enjoying wine country with his wife and identical twin daughters, always on the hunt for the best charcuterie board.

Diana Brewer is a photographer with an art-centered lifestyle. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelors Degree in Design, and is passionate about teaching pottery classes to children. In her free time, you’ll catch her exploring Disney parks or spending time with her pup, Bella.
The Benefits of 82 West Photography
1. All students are photographed for free. We photograph each student with a variety of poses. Each child will have 6-12 images to choose from. The student will also get to choose their favorite image to be used in the yearbook.
2. We will have enough staff to make sure the day runs extremely smooth.
3. We provide the school with complimentary service items of their choice, as well as a yearbook data export that will help your yearbook provider with a clean and easy loading.
4. Parents get to preview their child's image before ordering.
5. We offer 24 hour secure, online ordering, 7 days a week.
6. Each parent will have the option of ordering their child's image in color and black and white.
7. We only hire full time professional photographers.
8. We are envelope free, and all payments and orders are online through our secure website.
